すべての女性の心には、内なる魔女と狼が棲んでいる。
私はその野生の気配を追い、エストニアからノルウェーへと北欧を横断した。優雅な空気を纏う者もいれば、覇力を放つ者もいる。謎めいて危険な匂いを漂わせる者、大胆不敵で、どこか奇妙な輝きを放つ者。その強烈な個性のすべてが、まばゆいほどにファンタスティックだ。
『WITCHES + WOLVES』は、私たちの内に潜む魔獣を探し求める、エストニア／フィンランド出身のアーティスト WOLFED による写真展。神保町画廊での東京初個展となる。
WOLFED（ウルフド）は、世界観の構築と現代写真を横断するアーティスト。ゲーム業界で15年間アートディレクターとして活動した後、現在はシュールでアナーキーなフォトストーリーへと創作の軸を移している。挑発的なエネルギーと遊び心を併せ持つ知的なナンセンスを作品の核とする。

There’s a Witch and a Wolf inside every woman. I’ve hunted for these wild creatures across Nordic Europe – from Estonia to Norway. Some of them are elegant, some are powerful, some are mysterious, some are dangerous, some are unapologetically strange. All of them are fantastic.
Witches + Wolves is a photographic anthology by an Estonian-Finnish artist WOLFED who hunts for the magical beast inside us. It is his first solo exhibition in Tokyo with Jimbocho Gallery.
WOLFED is an artist whose work bridges world-building and contemporary photography. Following a fifteen-year career as an Art Director in the video games industry, he now directs his creative energy toward surreal, anarchic photo-stories. His work centers on the concept of sophisticated stupidity—combining provocative energy with a sense of play.
